“Writer’s Block“
by Sophia O’Brien
When I have writer’s block, it’s tick tock on the clock.
I feel annoyed, and I feel paranoid.
Try to write, but can’t find a chant.
I’m suffering because I feel stuck, and it sucks.
Stuck with zombies that are boring, fake, and make me have a headache.
Fight the writer’s block!
I’m bored, but I need to write the words I can’t afford.
Sitting on an empty page is boring, and my diary is full of anxiety.
Zombies that have no life in society.
Writer’s block is the worst at first when you burst, but then you have an idea.
You don’t notice, but your idea quietly starts to not fade, and you focus on other
ideas.
Then you take notice of the zombies that talk nonsense in your ears, and in your
mind you want to scream. Your bad dreams about them means they’re just mean
and blocking you from yourself.
You should never let writer’s block eat up your brain.
Just gotta fight the writer’s block!
